<p>I have the option of either stating at home and going to Santa Monica college or leaving home and going to UC merced and live in an apartment which would be a wiser choice to make? </p>
<p>Either option is good so where do you feel you would be the happiest??? </p>
<p>Agree with Gumbymom. A lot depends on your readiness to leave home, and your finances. </p>
<p>Echoing the above, if you can afford to live away at UCM and are ready to leave the nest, go for it. If not, your CC will be fine.
