I was admitted ED to Emory, and I realize that my admission is dependent on my final grades for senior year. Realistically, how much can I let my grades slip (are straight B’s ok?) and how often does emory actually rescind acceptances for grade drops?

just keep it up…it’s good habit

I’ve been wondering the same thing as well…

I guess I’ll bump this

Well it does, but IMO your grades would need to be far lower than a 3.5 (I’m assuming you’re taking at least a few APs) to be rescinded. That being said, try to keep your grades up. I slacked off my senior year, and as a result seriously struggled my first semester with a combination PreCalc/Calc class.

Also remember that if for some reason you need to transfer, many schools look at your high school transcript. You don’t want that report card littered with mediocre grades just because you wanted to take it “easy” your last semester.

Okay, thanks!

Yeah don’t worry haha I mean if you’re getting straight C’s there may be an issue, but as long as you’re still taking AP/IB classes and making B’s, you’ll be fine.
