<p>I got accepted to Rice as a transfer, and I intend on going in the fall. However, before my decision to go was final, I registered for courses at my current university for the fall semester. Should i withdraw from these courses or are they harmless? The reason I ask is because they will appear on my final transcript (which I’m about to send) as courses in progress. Will that be hinting at me staying in my current university by any chance?</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Rice should understand that their admissions decisions come out after registration for fall term and that you understandably had a back-up plan in case Rice didn’t work out.</p>
