Final Verdict Chance Me

I think i am a pretty borderline applicant please answer this question honestly:

Caucasian
3.16 unweighted GPA
1860 SAT 650 verbal 650 math 560 Writing
8 AP Classes
MUN, DECA, GSA
In State
People consider me a very good writer, so my essays should be good

Others: I have very good SAT II scores 790 math 2, 670 Literature, but UDUB doesnt take them, is there any way I can have them look at them, same thing with AP scores, i got good scores

CHANCE ME!

When you submitted your SAT I scores, your SAT II scores will also appear on that sheet, so they’ll see it(: (Nice job, btw)

What does your weighted GPA look like & what did you score on your AP tests?

My best friend last year was rejected (in-state) as a NMF & a ~2300 with a 3.3 GPA
-
and he’s caucasian as well. Similar EC’s + Varsity Sports

Just giving you a heads up there ):

Perhaps his case was just odd. ;O

The biggest problem for you is the GPA. It doesn’t match up with your test scores (decent SAT, higher SAT II’s and 8AP’s that you did well in). Do you attend a highly rigorous program? Or did you have a “down year” or are you on an upward trend? These last two situations could be explained to the U in an essay form. The rigorous HS would be known to the school already. Also, in state or oos? Much tougher if you are oos. You can report AP scores but you don’t want to look like a smart lazy kid (higher scores, low gpa) so make sure it is explained.
