Finally making the connection: Higher grades contradict test scores

I just read that article =)

I think that classes are getting easier. You’d be surprised by how many idiots are in H/AP classes at my school…

Haha, my test scores are higher than my grades, thats just because I’m lazy.

I think that classes are getting easier. You’d be surprised by how many idiots are in H/AP classes at my school…—totally agreed, I feel like there must be some ACCELERATED Ap classes nowadays! :)

I don’t think my school even offers regular courses, except for electives and gym and such. Pretty much every course gets “Honors” slapped onto it. In fact, “Honors” at our school is for the dumb kids…good students who want to take honors-level classes take “PreIB” courses.

all my AP and honours classes at my require testing to get in, it’s only weighted if you get above a 3 on the exam and like, no one gets into my classes. the grading scale is also much higher than anyone else in our district so its harder to get As in any class. yeah… my school isn’t really getting easier.

^^ Well, at least you get other students on par academically.

The worst thing is to be in an AP English class, and be one out of maybe three that actually talks.

My teacher is a joke. We’ll read a book, and then discuss it. We either have to talk 4 times during class, or you can take it home and write answers to the discussion questions, lame! So, these kids that do not even make a peep in class, get the same exact grade because they go home and make up some BS answer. It is really preparing our english skills. I hate this class, so much. And most of the students don’t like me because I talk too much, but I really am not talking that much, just in proportion.

Im done now, thanks for reading!
