<p>well, all i can say is i dont care bout rankings and i felt “better” while visiting davis than sd…la jolla is a beautiful place…TO VACATION WITH YOUR FAMILY…but davis is geared toward the students and prices are student friendly there. other than that i guess i also considered cost of living off campus and distance to home and the internships available in norcal (apple, google, we are near the silicon valley for goodness sakes!).</p>

<p>i was in the same boat…deciding between ucd and ucsd. although i chose to be a triton, i think you made the right choice for your career goals. good luck at davis.</p>
