<p>I want to get a masters in EE. I originally thought I wanted to do something in finance, but after a summer internship I realized it wasn’t for me. I did a good job and will get an excellent recommendation talking about some of the projects I worked on along with my personality (initiative, motivated, etc.). I was wondering if this letter of rec would carry any weight considering its not EE related.</p>
<p>I would not use it unless you don’t have three good LoRs from professors in the field or that you did research with.</p>
