Finance

i heard that finance, as well as accounting, classes aren’t your typical type of classes (where you just study the textbook and youre ready for the test) i heard its more of a bunch of projects and stuff. is this true? and can someone please elaborate on this? like what type of projects are we talking aobut?

who told you this nonsense?? (takes out the hitting stick)

Of course there are projects. Accounting classes such as AIS (Accounting info systems) may typically have a project where you goto a company and interview them and get their controls, and then flowchart their controls. Theres probably an overall evaluation of controls. For intermediate accounting you may encounter research cases. Where you research a particular accounting issue, same in Tax. Cost Accounting I believe they had one too. For Finance I encountered some research projects using Bloomberg, etc.
