Hello I am applying to transfer to UC for fall 2016. My question is: will I be considered independent for fin aid? I will be 24 on March 13; however, the deadline for FAFSA is March 2nd. Will I miss the cut off to be considered independent for financial aid be 11 days? And of course Please and Thank You

You have to be 24 by December 31st of the school year you are applying for. So applying for Fall 2016 you would have to be 24 by December 31st 2016.
