<p>Just because I know there will be a thread - </p>

<p>Getting an incomplete financial aid notice does not mean you’ve been accepted. I was deferred EA, haven’t sent in my midyear yet, and just got this email telling me to submit my financial aid stuff. There is no way I’m in.</p>

<p>Which is goofy. It seems to me it would be a lot easier to wait until kids were admitted, and <em>then</em> do the financial aid. It’s like, 60% less work, right?</p>

<p>But then they couldn’t get you the fin. aid estimate WITH your acceptance. Given that there is only a month between RD acceptance notices and the deadline for committing to a school, you should be happy that they let you know of the financial situation in a timely manner.</p>
