<p>I’m an international, so this situation might be unique to me. anyway, thing is, there’s no field or question in the PFAA asking me to state my expenses for the year at all. they didn’t even ask for things like how much we’ve spent on food, utilities, automobiles, basic stuff. </p>
<p>is this NORMAL? is princeton so generous that they’ll calculate my need based on my annual family income alone?</p>
<p>You are correct, it only looks at one side for the most part (income). Don’t know how they figure things out. FASA is even worse near as I can tell.</p>
<p>I would give what the financial aid office asks. If they need more information, they will contact you. If you are unsure, call them and ask if they have all the necessary information.</p>
