Financial Aid Appeal Question

Hello,

I filed a financial aid appeal about a couple of years ago and it was accepted, however, I never went back. I recently called up that school and they told me that it was still valid. My problem is this, I did some volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and with the local Humane Shelter and other such things and found out that I do not want to follow the same career and degree path that I was. The college that I was attending does not have the degree I need to get on my new career path and I need to transfer schools. Now does the appeal approval follow me to my new school, or do I need to file another one, or do I need to get myself in good standing again before I can transfer to another school?

Please help,

Federal financial aid depends upon your SAP (satisfactory academic progress). There is chance that you would need to bring up your GPA before qualifying for federal grants and loans. Call the IPFW’s financial aid office, tell them your situation, and see what they can tell you.
