Financial Aid at Duke

Hello, I’m a junior looking into colleges, and Duke is on my list.

I know Duke has a program where if you make less than 150,000 you get free tuition, but do they give you aid outside of that as well?

For example: Free tuition + additional aid? Or is it just the free tuition?

For those eligible, the actual award may be higher than tuition

Perhaps check out the NPC on Duke’s financial aid webpage. It will give you info based on your financial situation.

I would also look at the Robertson Scholarship info…

It is highly competitive and might not make sense to expend the extra effort to fill out the separate application but you should be aware of it for both Duke and UNC.

Here’s the FAQs. Note I don’t see it here but some schools will asterisk something such as - assuming expected assets. In other words, substantial assets, regardless of income, could impact. I don’t see it here but if your family has substantial assets, you might ask.
