Sounds like some people are finding out their financial aid before March 10th? Should we be contacting the fin. aid officers to see what has been granted? I hate the idea of finding out both the admissions decision and the f/a at the same time. Just to be prepared in advance seems better.

I don’t understand your statement “I hate the idea of finding out both the admissions decision and the F/A at the same time.” If you were to contact the FA officer and he did decide to share with you the FA grant amount (before the 3/10 date), you would know you were accepted. So, you would be finding out both the admissions decision and the FA decision at the same time anyway.

I think there has only been one person who reported receiving a letter of acceptance with financial aid grant information. I believe everyone else is waiting until March 10th. If it were me, I would not contact any financial aid officers now to see what has been granted. I don’t think they will share that information with you.

The person who said they had received a grant heard it from a school who mails out their admissions decisions earlier.
