I’m wondering what the best way to tell what financial aid forms are due for certain schools. Is there a better way than checking each individual website? I’m having trouble telling which schools want what paperwork and it is overwhelming, I don’t want to miss deadlines or forms and not get any aid because of it. Help or advice here would be great.
Also, is anyone familiar with Creighton Honors program, do you have to fill out a separate application or are you automatically considered when you apply?
There is no way to find out each school financial,aid requirement and deadlines…except checking EACH school’s financial aid section website.
Just go to google. Type the name of the college…financial I’d.
Fir example:
University of Arizona financial aid
You will a hit for the website to the college financial aid page. Look there for what is required…and the deadline.
Repeat for each college.
Takes about two minutes per college.

Look, this takes research and organizational skills, two things that you will be calling on as a college student. Make a spreadsheet to keep all the information in one place and easy to track.
Or get an old fashioned paper calendar…and write the deadlines on that.
THEN…make sure you submit things a week or so BEFORE the actual deadlines. Do not wait until the day of. There have already been students here who are reporting that they submitted the deadline date…and don’t know if they will have met the deadlines.
Why fret over that?? You have the info you need NOW because the financial aid forms are using 2015 tax return info for the 2017-2018 school year. The forms were available in OCTOBER. Get them done…now.
