financial aid, eligible non-citizen

For proving you are an eligible non-citizen they make you bring your residency cards IN PERSON to fin-aid office and fill out this form
http://www.sfa.ufl.edu/isis/0809ElgNonCitizen.pdf

in the form it says it take FIVE weeks to confirm it…has anyone here had to do this? did it actually take 5 weeks?

I called the lady last month and she said it was fine if I brought it in the week before classes started (Summerb), But now i see this document and it says 5 weeks…does this mean i will not have my financial aid till schools over? -.-‘’

I am screwed? lol i need that money the first week

Well I fall under this category and never even heard about this form. I mailed a copy of my Alien Registration Card with my application, and that was it. ISIS says I have financial aid available and if I check the holds on my financial aid there is nothing that mentions about it. I think that you should call them and ask about your situation again mentioning this form. I know I will.
