Financial Aid Factors?

I am without a doubt going to need full financial aid, I was wondering if I decided to repeat the 9th grade it would affect my chances since schools would have to provide an entire extra year of aid? Its basically 200,00 for 4 years and 150,000 for 3 so will that be a factor in admissions? Or do schools take it one year at a time?

Okay, well, since no one else has responded, I’m going to try.

Yes, I think they do take it into account . . . you would clearly be less of an investment as a 10th grader than as a 9th grader.

But the school also certainly has more spots - and more financial aid - for 9th grade than for 10th grade.

So, in the end, who knows? What I’d strongly suggest is that you contact an admissions officer at each school you’re applying to and ask for their advice on the “9th grade vs. 10th grade” question. Some schools will consider your application for both grades. Others will require you to select one or the other. So, talk to an admissions officer at each school and see what they have to say.
