Financial aid for Aerospace engineering

I will be graduating high school in 2017 with a CGPA of 3.8 (Expected) and a ACT score of 34 or above. I am interested in doing Aerospace or Aeronautical engineering. What are the universities that could offer me scholarships for full tuition/fees and Room/Board?

Thanks

University of Alabama for full tuition given those stats. If you’re NMF, you can get first year room covered. Also an additional $2500 a year for engineering majors.

Are you actually getting 34 on your ACT? Also, you’re not an international student, correct?

I have 34 now. I am planing to give a 2nd attempt this December for higher score. I am not not an international student, am a resident of Illinois state.

@Sonedu could you clarify? Are you a US citizen or just a “resident” there’s a difference.

Thank you

I am a US citizen

How did you do on the PSAT?

If he is graduating high school 2017, then he just took the junior year PSAT.

Can you tell me more about NMF? My son has been accepted for 2016 with tuition scholarship, but curious how to get aid for room and board.

What state do you live in and what was his PSAT score?

@buckeyes Is your son a NMSF?

If so, then have him apply to Alabama. He’d get 5 years of tuition , 1 year of housing, plus 3500 per year, plus some other goodies.

AND, if he’s an eng’g or CS major, he’d get an add’l 2500 per year. So that would be $6k per year on top of free tuition and the 1 year of free housing.
