In another post you said “money is not a problem by any means”. How much do you need? What schools are you applying to? What are your stats? How much do your parents make? No one can tell you how much financial aid you will get without this information. Also, transferrable credits are not always transferrable. Take the APs and get at leat a 4 if you want to save money.

Here is your issue…you need tomget acceoted to even be considered for any kind of aid. There are TONS ipos students from India who apply to,colleges here with high stats…higher than yours or even the same. Somemof the schools on your list accept less than 10% of applicants…and even LESS international applicants.
Are these still your target schools?
In terms of aid…so if you need it now…how much do you need per year? Berkeley won’t give you a penny of need based aid, nothing.
Harvard, Yale and Stanford give need based aid only. I believe Stanford is need aware for admissions for international students…so if you have need…it will be considered when you apply for admission.
UIUC and GT are both public universities. My opinion…you are not likely to get any aid there either. You will be paying the OOS cost to attend.
But these are my opinions…I’m not an adcom or financial aid officer.
Depending on the circumstances, many schools will not give any credit for an AP class, no matter what the test grade is.
How many credits is a usual CS course ?
How many credits is a “usual” computer science course? It depends on the course…and the college.
