what do we have to do for yale and when are the deadlines?

If you are an international student, you need to submit the 2005-2006 International Student Financial Aid Application from CollegeBoard, at the minimum. Then there’re non-custodial parent, farm, and other stuff if applicable. You can find all of it at the Yale website. I think the deadline is March 1.

For most people, just the FAFSA, CSS, and Tax Reports are enough. No extra forms. (I like how I said “just,” like it’s that simple.)

you have to send tax reports through college board

how do you send tax reports through CSS?

http://www.yale.edu/admit/freshmen/application/paper.html
Look page 3 of Application Instructions, it says:

“Copies of your and your parents’ 2004 federal tax returns are required as part of your application for aid. U.S. citizens and permanent residents should submits igned copies of 2004 fedearl tax returns (including all W-2 forms and schedules) to the College Board’s Imaging and Documentation Service (IDOC). Canadian citizens and other international students should submit their tax returns directly to the Student Financial Services at Yale. All documents sent to IDOC must be sent with cover sheet provided by CSS (this cover sheet and instructions for the IDOC service are sent directly to the student upon submission of the CSS Profile form). Copies of the IDOC cover sheet are available at http://idoc.collegeboard.com”

Hope that helps!

i am really not good with this stuff, has anyone sent w-2/tax forms before like this?
