So after looking at the cost of illinois for out of state… I need some financial aid haha.

Must I apply for Financial Aid? Or will they already pre-select for me scholarships (something like what indiana is doing)?

Thanks.

Fill out your FAFSA.

Don’t count on scholarships. There are few full-rides. There are a number of college and department scholarships that those in the upper echelon may qualify for but most of those range from $500 to $4,000 a year. If you need any significant financial aid, FAFSA is a must.

It doesn’t even have to be significant financial aid. You really should just fill out your FAFSA no matter what. If you ask anyone or any college, they will say you should do it.
