i am admitted with aid,but i want more aid.so i plan to ask the financial aid officer whether he could give me more aid.
but someone told me if i am to do so,i will probably miss the admission!
is that true?
others opinions are welcomed!
thanks in advance.

I am not quite sure what you mean by “miss the admission” but if you mean that they will withdraw the offer – no.

They may tell you no, we will not give you more aid – but they will not withdraw the offer of admissions. (unless you ask for more aid at the point of a gun)

it is always worth asking.

yep!thats what i mean,thank you so much!
now i will try my best to get more aid!

dont worry about that feel free to ask, because admission office is different from FinAid office so dont worry, plus they dont share info especailly on a small inquiry like the one u are goin to make.

so,theres no difference between going to ask admission officer and ask financial aid officer, right??
thanks

the admission officer has nothing to do with financial aid. You need to deal directly with the office of financial aid.

thanks for your advice!
