Hi! I’m an in-state student who was accepted EA into CoE. I thought my financial aid documents were all set but it turns out that UMich had requested a few more things from my family like our physical tax returns on the last day of February. I just saw this today on my Wolverince account and am wondering if we get all of these documents in by Monday if anyone knows if I might have missed my prime chance at financial aid? Thanks for any help!
@irishgirl19 Don’t worry. This is typical for verification. They will list the document requested when they received your FAFSA application. Last year, I turned those documents in around early April. Then they issued the official financial aid award notification in May. You have plenty of time to submit those document as they will continue to update the FA package throughout the summer. If you do have some grant money in your estimated FA award notice, you probably want to submit the requested document by May 1.
