Financial aid question

After filling out the Clarity, and submitting, is there a second phase of questions, directly from the schools?

We are almost done with Clarity and I was expecting more paperwork? Although we are fairly simple. Is there a phase two to the process? Just making sure we budget our time correctly if there is a landslide of paperwork requests coming our way after we submit.

International student/family.

Thanks!

Clarity is a relatively new app/system that was created with the intention to simplify the process. They deliberately were trying to make it quick and easy, as opposed to the older system, SSS, which took over an hour to fill out. Some schools may ask for more, but Clarity makes it easy for the admissions office as well (it rates families on a scale from 1-5 as easy or more difficult to review). If you have a rating of 1 or 2 (easy review) they will not likely ask for more information. If you completed Clarity honestly and your financial situation is straightforward, you should be all set.

Thank you so much. We are well documented/transparent.

We should assume that if a school has questions, they will ask, yet no news is good news (meaning they have what they need? )

My ex is intl and after submitting most schools requested a letter from employer stating salary and benefits translated to USD, 3 month bank statements, and 1 school had an international student supplement that didn’t apply to my situation. You can find the additional requests under documents. Hope this helps!
