<p>Does anybody know if the pell grant is the only form of financial aid available?</p>
<p>The reason I’m asking is because the financial aid office at my previous college stated that if I don’t qualify for the pell grant, I don’t qualify for any financial aid at all. </p>

<p>No. There is the pell grant, cal grant and university grants. I did not qualify for pell or cal, but I still got over $10k in university grants.</p>
<p>the pell grant is federal- you usually have to qualify for the pell grant in order to qualify for other grants. </p>
<p>University grant is at the discretion of the school.</p>
