Financial Aid rejected transfer college? HELP

I attend GMU and was under academic probation due to GPA under SAP, 1.8 gpa. I transferred from NVCC and took 2 semesters at GMU and gotten poor grades, but with a few A’s I can improve my GPA drastically since my overall GPA is counting only the courses at GMU. Meaning, I started fresh (“0” gpa) when I transferred my 55 credits from NVCC. My major is Accounting and I failed ACC 214 three times (Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Summer 2013)… and therefore can not take it for the 4th time. Overall, denied from GMU School of Business!!!

I destroyed my second chance… Now I wanted to retry, hopefully I can get a final and third chance.

I cannot afford my tuition at GMU as I still owe the university 3.5K in tuition, which is sent to collection agency.

Short version—> Mainly, I would like to pay the tuition due at GMU and get my holds removed to get my transcript. I want to transfer to JMU or VCU and wanted to know if I could get financial aid from these universities. If I could transfer at least 60 credits I am satisfied.

Since I cannot attend to School of Business at GMU and rejected from Financial Aid. Can I just transfer my credits from NVCC or whatever I earned (10 credits) from GMU to another 4-year university? Would I start with “0” GPA like how I did from NVCC to GMU and can reapply for Financial aid? Or do you recommend another route?

My main objective is to graduate from a university with major in Business Finance and Accounting with financial support (financial aid). What do you recommend? Please help, I messed up big time, and just need some advice. <---- THANK YOU!

I’m not the expert, but I believe that once you get your balance due paid off, that you will become eligible for financial aid at another institution. Do you have loans at part of your package?

Accounting does not get any easier, so you may want to reconsider that avenue, or do something that helps you better understand the concepts and material.

I believe that you will have to transfer your credits and gpa to a new school. I think it is each school’s own policy of what your gpa will be upon matriculation.

You will need to have official copies of all of your transcripts sent to the places you apply to for transfer. Whether they record any accepted credits on their own transcript with grades will depend on their specific policies. Some do that. Some don’t. You need to ask.

You also need to think seriously about your career choice. It is one thing to fail a class one time, but to repeat it two more times, and fail it again both times, is very unusual. Before you try another accounting class, you should think very carefully about how you will do things differently so that you can pass the course.
