Financial Aid Suspension Appeal Letter

I am on Financial Aid Suspension for not following my education plan. Can someone read this and give me your thoughts? Thanks!

I am writing this statement to appeal a financial aid suspension. I received the suspension letter on May 18,2018. The letter states the reason for my suspension as B784 Student not following Ed Plan. I would like to explain the circumstances around my failure to follow the education plan.
Before Spring quarter I attempted to register for classes and was informed that I would not be able to do so until I completed the NSAR. I completed the online version of the NSAR and was able to register for classes. Unfortunately, by that time, the CNA 112 class had filled up. I waitlisted the class but was still unable to attend because I was number 8 on the list. I was unable to register for Math 101 because I have not met the prerequisite for it. For the Summer 2018 quarter I am registered to take the CNA 112 class I was supposed to take this Spring. I am also enrolled in Math 90 so I can meet the prerequisite for the Math 101 Course I am supposed to take.
I have every intention of following my education plan to the best of my abilities from this point forward and will make every attempt to keep my communication regarding any issues open. I go to One Stop regularly to ensure I am on track and will continue to do so. My grades in the classes I am currently enrolled in are satisfactory and I plan to continue to keep them as such by attending my classes and submitting my work on time
. My desire to continue taking classes at SPSCC is very strong and I hope I am able to continue to do so. Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal.

Sincerely,

You can try…but really…when you met these class registration obstacles, you should have seen your advisor, or the dean of students immediately.
