financial aid terminology.

<p>So I went to my student center page today and noticed that my To Do list for financial aid disappeared. I thought “sweet, now I can see my aid” and went to the summary.</p>

<p>This is what I saw</p>

<p>CCTS ALS EMP/END STD N UG Amount - 5,040.00</p>

<p>What does CCTS ALS EMP/END STD N UG mean? And surely I must be getting more aid than a mere 5k. I know people with family incomes much higher and they are getting like 14k in aid per semester.</p>

<p>ALS= Agriculture and Life Sciences?
STD= Student?
UG= Under Graduate?</p>

<p>Just my guess :P.</p>

<p>CCTS means Cornells Children’s Tuition Scholarships, so if your one of your family members works for Cornell.</p>
