When does one find out their EFC, merit scholarships, tuition costs, and generally all financial info from all the colleges they applied to? During the same time as admission decisions are found out I presume, such as March 31st for the Ivies?
My D found out about admission a few weeks after applying. Merit from one school came along with admissions letter, from the other a few months after being accepted.
We filed FAFSA in February (the SAR = student aid report you receive after filing FAFSA includes your EFC). FA deadline (at her schools) was March 1, we got our FA award letters in April.
You have to make a decision by May 1. Tuition and fees, room and board rates should be published on college websites, also doing net price calculators can be helpful.
Have you used the net price calculator
For the schools in question?
In another thread you are asking about merit chances and saying that need based aid is out of the question.
For ivies expect to be full pay, no merit there.
Temple would give you full tuition for your stats and Pitt might be an option as well, not guaranteed, but worth a try.
Ok thanks for the info everyone
