Financial Aid To Roll Out St. Patrick's Day

I recently went to an accepted students reception and the rep. said that the first batch of financial aid will be given out on March 17th…May the odds be ever in your favor.

Perhaps at midnight tonight? I know that the Office of Student Aid Facebook page said that financial aid will also be rolling out this week (posted on March 14th). @jakeybake

Did anyone get their financial aid yet?

Not I…but the PSU financial aid Twitter and Facebook pages both said New students would start to recieve stuff this week on Monday… so maybe today? Maybe only a select handful are recieving it this week?

I just called and asked about the whole st. patricks day thing. The guy said that it was their goal, but they didn’t meet it. I asked when, and he just said “soon.”

sort of like the “rolling admissions” when we all thought we’d know sooner rather than later.

My wife got an email saying financial aid for my D was available. My D then went online and got her package. So it is out for some.

@zipbags they sent me the email saying mine was ready too, but went i log in to the access account nothing says view financial aid it’s a weird list of other portals

I tried that, but it still brings me to the wrong screen.

Son is having the same problem with accessing his financial aid info.

I called Penn State support. They said that the access account and FPS portal account (where you applied for admission) are different though they have same username. So if you already activated your access account, you need to give it a different password than the FPS. They are confusing! For me, I went to work.psu.edu, and click on password management, and changed the password. After that it works.
