<p>Usually not. Mine didn’t, I don’t think… Either way, FAFSA is usually to figure out federal loans. I can’t remember if the offer for EA includes what they think your loans will be… Your merit scholarship certainly will not be affected by the FAFSA.</p>
<p>How much were ya’ll offered and what, may I ask, was your EFC?</p>

9.7k in federal aid as well.</p>

<p>I don’t really remember. But it was really high. My parents had just hit the next (very high) tax bracket too. But I still got the 10k-ish full amount for federal loans. Or whatever the amount is…</p>
<p>Don’t know EFC, sorry Kara! My parents did both the FAFSA and CSS profiles. I also have two siblings currently at private colleges, so that was a big factor as well.</p>
