Financial Aid!!?!?

<p>Hello all!
Congrats to all who have been accepted to the class of 2018 at the George Washington University! I have two questions:

  1. How generous is GWU with regards to financial aid (grants)?
  2. How accurate would you say the college board’s net price calculator is?
    If the net price calculator is in the ballpark with how much money I will get, I will be able to attend! I’m so nervous for the financial aid report (I believe it’s April 4th?)

<li><p>It will be dependent on your family’s financial need. My family need was very high, and I did not receive any type of merit aid, but they provided enough aid for my family to attend. So, I would consider it very generous.</p></li>
<li><p>I would say it was pretty accurate. The Net Price Calculator does not cover all aspects of a family’s finances, however it does give a good picture of how much will be left to pay. </p></li>

<p>@GWU2018 thank you! :slight_smile: I’m hoping it will be enough. My family doesn’t demonstrate much need; however, I’m the one who’s paying for college they’re not putting in anything. So I’m praying it will be enough!!!</p>
