<p>I also received the letter but I wish it would have better explained what the three categories of fin. aid. were and how they match up to any potential scholarship money awarded by UMBC.</p>

<p>The "Plus’ part is pretty obvious, but ‘UNIVSCHN’ and ‘UNSTAFF’ are not defined in the letter.</p>

<p>Still waiting to hear about the Honors program, they say maybe two more weeks.</p>

<p>yeah, they didn’t explain anything–they wanted you to go online and look for yourself, which didn’t help either because the site only listed these grants that you don’t have to pay back:</p>

<p>Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
UMBC Grants-In-Aid (GIA) </p>

<p>nothing about staff and schn. im guessing those are grants you don’t have to pay back either, or maybe its a private scholarship ~</p>
