If you go ahead and take the exam for Comptia A+, and pass. Get credit for the class do you still get full aid from the grant? Also if you get a min wage job say at like CVS, would it hurt your EFC? I know you need 000000 to get full amount.
About working, you get to earn about $6,300 per year as a dependent student before it effects your EFC. What ‘full amount’ are you talking about, Pell Grant?
As for your other question I have not idea what you are talking about. What is “the grant”? You really have to give better background information.
If the money you earned stays in your bank account, it may affect your EFC even if it is less than $6300.
What about a independent student? I get the full amount $5,000.

If you carry a full academic load of classes, you will receive your full grant. If you don’t take a full load of classes, your grant will be reduced.
You need to speak with the financial aid office at your own college or university to find out what is a full load for financial aid purposes there.
