<p>the grant and loan do not remove specific items. there is one bill, and one cumulative charge; the grant and loan assume some of the burden for the overall charge, leaving you to pay the balance remaining.</p>
<p>from a realistic standpoint, what does it matter if the loan and grant are applied to housing, or tuition, or a meal plan? the total cost you’ll have to pay remains the same.</p>
