Recommendation Letters- I think they were pretty good. I asked my AP French teacher and AP Lang teacher to write them and they both have a great connection with me.
Extracurriculars:
-Intensive Law and Trial Program at Stanford University
-Organized a Bollywood summer camp over the summer for young girls. Sent $4,000 to an organization in India that helps girls living on the streets in poverty. I am working directly with the founder.
-Editor in Chief of School Newspaper for two years, editor for a year, and writer for a year
-Indian Dance (Bollywood, Garba, Classical, Bhangra) since 4 years old (danced the preshow at a Celtics vs. Wizards game)
-Piano since 6 years old
-Singing lessons since 8 years old
-Acting for a theater company over the summer (done this for the last 5 years and played leads every year)
-French National Honor Society (Treasurer), National Honor Society, National English Honor Society (Treasurer)
-Elementary School Tutoring Club for three years (tutor fourth graders at local elementary school twice a week)
