Many moons ago I had a nice pair of Dr. Marten boots. But when I moved from one state to another they became lost somewhere somehow. I would like to either get another pair of Dr. Martens or a similar type of boot for a good price. I live in a small rural town and you can not find this type of boots here and the closest mall is to far away.

Does anyone know of a good yet reasonable priced place online that I can get another pair of such type boots.

I thought I sent an answer but its not showing up…forgive if this is a duplicate Journeys.com is the website of a cool mall type shoe store,D used to buy her Docs there…don’t know about the reasonable price part though…also zappos.com carries every type of shoe imaginable and has free shipping and free returns.
s once found a pair of Docs in a Goodwill Thrift store for $5 but in a somewhat hip location (suburban NYCity).

Every chance I get I check thrift shops in the area. In the last year I got a nice pair of Sketcher boots and Mudd boots. I may check the local army surplus store and see if they have any in my size.

I just checked Zappos.com. If you click “Brands” at top of page, you’ll see Dr. Martens… Not known for bargain pricing, but they have free shipping and free return shipping and free exchanges if the shoes don’t fit.

*oops - didn’t read cathymee’s post all the way through. oh well-- ditto

My D got two pairs of Docs used. The first pair was a hand-me-down from a friend; the second she found in a thrift shop. She’s also bought them gently used on EBay. Just check the seller’s rating!

Second endless dot com. I checked, and they have quite a few Dr. Martens boots ON SALE! (And I can get myself some Ecco boots with a great discount!!!)
