I am looking for match schools.

Can northwestern, WashU, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Vandi, CMU,Boston College, Case Western Reserve be my match schools?

I need help… I have a lot of reach schools so I do not need more reaches but I need safeties and matches…!

Vandy is a good choice. They want more Asian students. But, they are very number oriented. So, it is a slight reach school.

Notre Damn is a match schools because they want more Asian students.

CMU: It depends on your major. If you apply for CS major, then recah. Otherwise it could be a match school.

BC: I think you will get in to BC.

GW is a reach school.

Wash U: It is very unpredictable and they are need aware school. If you do not apply for FA, then you could get into WashU. It is a low reach school.

CWR: Don’t know much about the school. But, I think you have great chances at this college.

You might want to consider LACs. What about Middlebury (slight reach) or Haverford (match I think)?

What about Emory University? Tufts or Brandise University?

Not a full chance, but I just wanted to say that CMU is actively looking for more females, especially in Eng. There was even a post praising one of the first years they had a 50/50 male female split.

What will hurt her for CMU though is that she is Asian, they are such an ORM there. I agree that if you apply for certain math oriented majors your chances will increase.

I am applying for cognitive sci… is it gonna hurt me then? if CMU is not match for me, there is no point to apply there since i have 3 reaches(columbia brown dartmouth) already…
