I committed to Dickinson College but I’m struggling to connect with people. I’m international and I wasn’t able to attend the admitted students day and I feel that everyone found friends and roommates during the admitted students day. I’m not a shy person so I reached out to a couple of people but they all seem to have roommates and their group of friends. When I was considering George Washington University, they had group chats and a bunch of Instagram accounts to help incoming students to find friends and get to know one another and I was wondering if Dickinson had something like that because so far I haven’t been able to see anything similar.
Don’t stress. You will meet plenty of people once you get to campus.
