Hello everyone,
My name is Dave and I’m in need of some advice. I am a 25 year old recently separated veteran of the US Army, in my second year of school at a community college, BHCC. Due to not knowing what i’d like to do, I am in General Concentration right now.
I am really hoping if I list some of the things that intrigue me, I can get some advice on 4 year degree plans that would fit that the best, as well as schools that may offer it in the Boston area.
The things I enjoy:
Populations (towns, cities, states, countries ect)
Population growth or decline
Geography, Maps
History (Past 100 years or so, although I am not interested in teaching)
Research on various subjects, I can spend hours in front of my computer or phone researching anything from nuclear arms, countries power (militarily), natural disasters, weather.
Current events, I love keeping up to date with the news / world events
I know those are kind of broad although it goes top down from favorite to least, although I truly love them all.
I really do appreciate any help I receive, ever since I left the Military it has been a struggle to figure out my career field, even my career counselors just tell me to stick with general.
Thanks everyone,
Dave
