I am a rising high school senior, I will be the valedictorian of my class, I have a 4.3 GPA, I have participated in a multiple mentoring programs and teaching programs, and I will be through Calculus 1,2,3, Applied Differential Equations, and Vector Calculus 1 and 2 by the end of my senior year. APs: Chem: 4, Calc AB: 4, Stat: 3, Human Geo.: 4, US History: 4 and I plan to take AP Lit and Comp as well as AP Lang and Comp my senior year. ACT Composite: 28. I know I want to go into either math or chemical engineering and I am open to a double major in those two fields but it’s hard finding a school that will fit both of my criterias. For Chemical Engineering, I know it has to be accredited by ABET and for Math I want a general math major or a emphasizes on graduate studies. From what I have found, I think I would prefer a private or a well recognized public. What colleges could I get into that would best fit my criteria?
RPI, WPI, Stevens.
What about a west coast school? UC?
UCLA.
Thanks a lot. What would be strong safety school?
