First class of the year is a waitlisted class discussion

<p>So here’s the situation: my first class of the semester is one that I’ve been put on the waitlist for (MS 102) and the professor suggested that I show up anyway to the lecture portion, but what do I do if my discussion is scheduled on a day before the actual lecture?</p>

<p>You may receive an email regarding attendance for the discussion; if not I would go ahead and attend the discussion to see if it is really being held. Or you could also email the professor again about attending section before the lecture is held the first week.</p>
