<p>Hi everyone! I’m “new” to this forum. I say this in quotes cause I’ve actually been a silent observer on collegeconfidential for several months, but I’ve never posted. I’m applying to Princeton ED, and I have some lingering questions. I’m wondering if I’m a first generation college student because my parents and I immigrated to the States when I was four from Bulgaria, and my dad never went to college here, but my mom went to community college.

<p>I believe community college counts, so I don’t think you’d be 1st generation.</p>
