@EconPop Thank you for the encouragement. But the doubt in my accomplishments isn’t from others prejudice. While I take pride and ensure to gloat about an accomplishment such as this, the doubt I have stems from myself questioning how I have achieved these accolades. My GW acceptance essentially doesn’t feel real. After wanting to attend the school I can’t fathom how I am finally achieving my goals. Of course this acceptance boosted my already high ego but personally it doesn’t feel like a reality. I strongly believe that you have to be your own “hype man” because if you don’t boost yourself up then no one else will. Regardless of how I got the acceptance I know that once I am on campus I will be sure to take full advantage of the city and the institution.
As any college student can attest to, those forged in adversity will remain humbled and supercede their counterparts.
