<p>I’ll start.</p>
<p>Students seemed really cheerful/friendly to each other. Strong school spirit. The administration was also very friendly and helpful.</p>
<p>I thought it was really pleasant. Nice campus. Had a really great tour guide.</p>
<p>A relative who did not attend SC called and told me about his long visit to SC last October.<br>
He came early for a business luncheon. After a self guided tour he told me he was impressed by the campus, especially by the cleanliness of the green spaces. Everything was immaculate. He also noted the student body was extremely diverse and friendly. During his stay he spoke to various students. He remarked, “Everybody I spoke to was smart.” He had attended a state university and thought it was humorous each building was named for a person.
Another observation he had was how professional all his dealings were with university staff who had arranged the luncheon. He also noted how much everyone he spoke with enjoyed being at SC.</p>
<p>My very first impression: “I hate this place.”
My impression minutes later: “I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!”
USC is just so different in comparison to the other schools I am considering (midwest, “normal” schools) that it threw me off at first. But then I realized that I actually like the USC feel more than the other schools I was looking at. Now Trojan pride fills my heart.</p>

<p>right after interview: great looking campus! i think that’s why they made me park at this parking lot far away from my interview area, so that i could walk the campus</p>
<p>I remember thinking when I got on campus the first time, how much USC looked like my image of college. In retrospect, that is probably because USC has been “college” in so many movies! It looked and felt like what I thought college would be. I was also impressed with how nice everyone was.</p>
<p>I thought it looked kind of plain (especially since I visited UCLA like 3 hours earlier). Then as the tour progressed I thought it looked amazing! I liked that it is smaller than UCLA (which seemed really spread out). It was raining that day (bummer), but it still looked great.</p>
<p>buildings look respectable, beautiful, academic, but everybody seems laid back at the same time. I loved it.</p>
<p>Tour guide was also good-looking and very school-spirited, both of which made me feel even better :)</p>
<p>The minute I saw it I knew I loved it.
The campus, the buildings, the people, the spirit.
I saw people walking around saying “fight on!” to each other instead of saying hi.
And my tour guide had AMAZING silver metallic snakeskin tory burch flats. lol. that’s not very important.</p>
<p>So, 2014 hopefuls, have you visited yet?</p>
<p>I visited this summer…gosh, it was so beautiful! I was on a college road trip, visiting UCLA, UC Irvine, Chapman, UCSB, and–of course–USC. The funny thing is, we almost didn’t visit USC. I originally had my thoughts more directed towards the UC schools, but I still had this feeling inside that made me really want to at least visit USC…and when I did…wow…Fell in love the moment I stepped on campus: the gorgeous architecture, the fountains, the compactness of the campus, the immaculate cleanness…the whole ambience felt warm, welcoming, classy, and inspirational. </p>
<p>I woke up the next morning to visit UCLA and it didn’t compare at all to USC, in my opinion. Well, none of the other schools compared to USC. Visiting the campus is really what made me go back to the website and thoroughly explore all that USC had to offer. Of course, everything it offers is way beyond just a breathtaking campus.</p>
<p>I’m going back to the campus in October, and I’m so excited to see it again! </p>

<p>My first impression was about the serenity of the campus. It’s very open and flat, and I felt as if the large green areas insulated a lot of the noise, which was very pleasant. I was also really impressed with the architecture and really liked the centralization around alumni park/doheny/bovard/TT.</p>
<p>My co-impression was along the lines of the above post. :D</p>
<p>I couldn’t possibly remember my first impression of campus, but the campus has changed a lot since then and I’ve gotten many impressions over time…</p>
<p>I think it’s a beautiful campus, especially the openness, even though there has been a lot of new construction that’s taken away some of the green (especially in the engineering corner 
)</p>
<p>At the same time the parks and trees and fountains really break up the campus a lot and it’s hard sometimes to believe you’re in a city, with lots of squirrels and birds to hang out with outside. </p>
<p>As many fountains as USC has, you never get the impression there’s too many, and there’s probably room for half a dozen more before it would.</p>
<p>Strangely it’s also quite nice when it rains. That doesn’t happen very often (sunny Southern California) but that makes it a bit more tolerable when it does. Everything really benefits from a nice rinse a couple times a year.</p>
<p>Ooh, what is it like when it rains? I love the rain! (Yes, I live in SoCal already but I always look forward to those few days that it does rain here. :D)</p>
<p>I had a great tour guide. Her name was Janet and she made all of these Harry Potter references. I loved it. :D</p>
<p>The campus was sooooo beautiful. The buildings I went into were well-kept and clean. Very nice.</p>
<p>LOL well, right after I mentioned it, it got nice and rainy here.</p>
<p>It’s nice because it gets comfortably cool and everything gets a nice rinse off, keep things clean.</p>
<p>Downsides: obviously there’s not a lot of cover going between buildings, so an umbrella can be necessary. Also, most of the older walkways weren’t designed with rain in mind, so they don’t drain properly, which leads to excessive puddleage Most of the newer walkways are better designed for drainage.</p>

<p>USC is now my number 1 choice :D</p>
<p>It’s just an incredible campus. I was immediately impressed by how professional and welcoming the admissions department was.</p>
<p>when i was goin to classes last week i think, i saw 2 tour guides w/ their group</p>
<p>one made them stop in front of alumni house with a Bentley CGT and Masteratti QP in front of it</p>
<p>the other stopped in front of another building with another BCGT and a Rolls Royce </p>
