First SAT Practice Test

I took a full SAT practice test and got around a 1980. Prior to taking the test, I practiced for about 5 days taking about 10 practice tests (mix of all 3 subjects). I want to do better when I get to the full test, and my goal is about 2200. Is this feasible within the next few months? How much will I have to practice?

Currently I am going into sophomore year of high school. I got 600 on CR, 680 on W, and 700 on M. On the practice tests, I usually missed 1 question in math if that, so I think improving math is just fixing my focus, but I’m having most of my trouble with CR and multiple choice writing.

Thank you for any input.

I’m sure it’s feasible. How much will you have to practice? That’s kind of different for every person. And while I really advocate practicing a lot to become more comfortable with taking the test, it’d probably help to look at the questions you answered incorrectly, understand why your original answer was wrong, and I guess just…kind of teach yourself a way to eliminate the incorrect choices when doing the CR questions.

You’re still a sophomore. What you have already is pretty impressive.

Which book are you using to take practice tests, anyway?
