First thing you wanted to do when you got home?

<p>What was the first thing you wanted to do when you got hone for the first time during your freshman year?</p>

<p>I wanted to take a bath…</p>

<p>Since I take online courses I really can’t relate from a college perspective.
But going on leave back home after my first deployment is comparable I think.</p>

<p>The first thing I wanted to do was eat some of my mom’s home cooking.</p>

<p>I wanted to go back to school.</p>

<p>Umm.
Well, FSU’s dining hall is severely lacking in the red meat department, so I want a huge juicy steak. I also want a bath right now. And then I want to go right back to FSU. :stuck_out_tongue: I already called my parents and listed the food that I want LOL</p>

<p>I played with my dog and took her on a walk. I missed her more than anything back home.</p>

<p>Wanted to take a bath in my own private bathroom without the chance of anyone else coming into the bathroom to use a toilet or one of the other stalls.</p>

<p>Collapse in my room and remember how nice it is.
Then I stay up watching anything on TV, because I never watch any at uni.</p>

<p>I like the extra space and family and cleanness.</p>

<p>The first week or two when I got back I just hanged out with family and my friends because I missed them both soooo much.</p>

<p>This!! I miss my pets SO much when I’m at school!</p>

<p>After the first year away from home I think I just wanted to sleep. My dorm was such a terrible environment to sleep in! </p>

<p>I also just wanted to be able to drive all through my hometown. We have so many stores and restaurants that aren’t in the town my school’s in so I just wanted to go explore my hometown again.</p>

<p>Oh my gosh, the first thing I wanted to do was read a good, non-school-related book. Throughout the school year I always felt so guilty about reading something that wasn’t school-related because I thought “Oh, I should be studying instead”. Reading a book just for me was SUCH a treat coming home.</p>
