first time on cc, please chance!

I’m applying to

University of Texas at Austin (UT)
University of Southern California (USC)
New York University (NYU)
Vanderbilt
Rice
Baylor

I’ve already been accepted to UT, but I’m still waiting on hearing back from the BHP Program and Plan II Program.

I’ve also been accepted to Baylor.

At the beginning of the year my rank was 37/844
but I failed calculus, so my final rank was 79/844

SAT Scores
Math = 750
Readin= 650
Writing = 680

AP Test
US History = 5
I’m also taking the AP Econ Gov and Calc AB test this year

I’ve been in the hardest classes I could be in at my class and

 • am a member of NHS
 • was President of Movie Club
 • was Photographer and Historian for Book Club
 • am a Page editor for Newspaper and have been on for 2 years
 • have been on the swim team for four years.

also my gpa is 4.39

how do you have a 4.39 if you flunked calculus??? Are you exagerating??? I think you’ll probably get into those colleges, but those acceptances might be eliminated unless you have a REALLY good explanation for that F.

our gpa is out of 6.0

bump…

anyone???

your chances look pretty dec. sarahdisk123 was right tho, colleges will notice that your grades dropped by a lot after first semester. even if your schools dont require mid year reports, if you eventually get accepted im pretty sure wherever you decide on will ask for a final report… so yea make up a medical condition? or some kind of disaster like your family lost your home and you had to live in a box for a month.

anyway, you got into baylor? thats freaking amazing. based on that acceptance i’d say youre pretty much guaranteed to get in to all the rest of your schools too!! good luck (: (: (: (:

bump…!
