First time taking SAT as a senior

I will be a senior taking the SAT for the first time this October.

Does anyone know if this is a bad thing to do? Will colleges (specifically UC’s) receive my score in time? Will I be able to retake if needed? Will this in any way hinder my admissions process

Nope, nothing bad. You have time to prepare for the test. The app must be done by Nov30. I think the last day to take the SAT for UC’s is December(not sure).
