First time when kids are the adults

<p>I had a wonderful Mother’s day today - after dinner kid #1 pulled out a cake he had made using Alton Brown’s carrot cake recipe. We laughed over the show but it really hit me when we sliced it… my kid cooked for Mother’s day. Wow. Plus he didn’t even show up with dirty laundry.</p>

<p>WHat was the first time you realised your kid was an adult?</p>

<p>I think the first time I felt like a real adult was at age 28 when I had my first child, so I’m not holding my breath for these guys…</p>

<p>I’d love for someone to bake me a cake, though (especially carrot)!</p>
